Office 2016 KMS
-
I've added the Office 2016 KMS key to my KMS server.
Will my Office 2016 installs not activate until I reach 5 installs on the network? Or will the 80+ Office 2013 installs count toward my activation count?
This is an old KMS server with keys for Office 2010, 2013, 2016, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Server 2008, 2008R2, 2012R2.

I paged @chris from MS.

I am going to guess the latter, but I am not sure.

I am not 100% sure on this, but I believe you need the 5+ installs of Office 2016 for KMS to activate the clients.
You can cohost the Office 2013 KMS host and the Office 2016 KMS host on the same system. Its my understanding that the Office 2013 KMS host will only activate Office 2013 clients. -
@chris thanks for jumping in so quickly!

hmm... I'm guessing not, as the two current 2016 instances I have deployed are still unactivated.. but I'm not positive yet that there isn't a problem with my KMS install.
When I tried to install my Win 10 KMS key yesterday, I got a failure, I'm still digging into it.

I must be incorrect then. Like I said, just a guess.
