The drug culture in the US and UK is so strong and so relatively absent in the rest of Europe where it is far more tolerated but less socially acceptable.
Definitely true, I remember realising fairly early that it was the social norm in the US for teenagers to have a drug problem, and in general adults were getting high right after telling the kids to "Just say no." Another thing I've noticed is so many parents get high with their teenage children, which is beyond trashy, and the only time I can recall ever hearing about that happening in Eastern Europe was with this weird mother-daughter prostitute pair that lived near me.
Yes, in Europe drugs are tolerated but not "cool". In the US they are not tolerated but very "cool". Polar opposites from what I have seen.

It is? I must be hanging out in the wrong (or maybe right) places...
Maybe, I keep running into them. I even dated a coke head once (cocaine, not crack, specifically) until she pushed over my refrigerator. It was pretty amazing, she was tiny. I had so many bottles of Yoohoo in there, it was over after that.

You don't hang out with the mother daughter tag teams? You are really missing out!

Too soon?

Well when you you take your work home with you...what do you expect?

You wouldn't be saying that if you saw them, not that they didn't sometimes try to harass me with "tempting" me with that sort of thing. They were so messed up looking, and just dirty, I know their apartment had a bath tub in it, I fixed their TV once.

She spilled the Yahoo hoping it was Coke?

I actually got propositioned three times at SpiceWorld London two weeks ago. Never had prostitutes actually come up to me before. I've seen them, I've had them kind of call but never come up and actively attempt a lewd conversation.

Hardy har har, the bottles broke when she pushed it over. I can tolerate spending my money on drugs for an attractive young woman's company, after all I am a pathetic millionaire, but don't dare waste my sugary drinks. I didn't get fat sitting around drinking water!
There's really no sarcasm or irony here.

Lots of prostitution in Roanoke, va. I stay away from those areas.

Not surprising. There are actually a lot everywhere. I used to work at a hotel where a lot of them lived and, in fact, the hotel shift manager was a lot lizard when things weren't busy.

I notice that you updated that quickly.

Now you know why it is called the "Lost Colony".

Oh my friend you have never lived in southern Moscow, it was daily. After I moved to city centre it stopped happening, except in bars, the fancy kind would sit next to me and talk to me.

I've probably had that and did not realize it.

I used to hang out late night at a restaurant in Rochester, NY where they would go after their shift, or between shifts or however that works. But it was their place to relax and they were not trying to pick people up, just trying to get dinner.

My old roommate, Josh, once gave one a "ride to work". He was hanging out at the hotel with me and she came to the desk wondering how to get "to work." He offered her a ride and she literally had him drop her on the corner. It was hilariously cliche.

I know what girls are out of my league (most of them) so I always err on the side of caution. I'm really polite in person, especially for a fat Eastern/Southern European jackass, so it makes people often think I'm weak willed or stupid. The irony is that in the US that same sort of attitude makes people like you instead.
