Musicians need backup too

Bad news for the band but...Seriously? No backup of their work?

No backup but they can afford a Midas Pro 9? Just did FOH for one of there concerts 4-5 months ago.

They can afford a lot more than that.
For what I would describe as a head-line band, Really really disappointing that they claim to have lost "months" of work. The stolen equipment should be insured, that should not set them back but...flip.

well the label will pay for equipment. I'm guessing it was going to be a live CD straight into pro tools over MADI otherwise it wouldn't be on a laptop. But still, never seen anyone not back those up.
There not really a headliner though, most shows I've worked they've been one of the openers.

Maybe less so in the American area, definitely well established in the UK though in that genre.

Hard to feel bad for them. Very, very hard. That's just plain laziness, stupidity and not getting the right people to take care of things if they aren't smart enough to do the most basic stuff. Probably comes down to not feeling that paying competent help is worth it.
