            Sounds like they are trying to compete with SpaceX's LEO satellites that are supposed to have ~20ms of latency.

                Outside of live things, it's probably not a real problem. yeah, you don't want it if you are a gamer, and you might get some issue with video chat, but general surfing, using of the web, streaming media, should be totally usable.

                          The 3mp upload is optimistic at best. You need a small sat to transmit up through the ionsphere, and they are doing it with a lower powered dish. Similar problems to early wireless.
