Has anyone tried installing Pertino on a Unitrends box? I tried once but ran into some dependency issues I couldn't resolve. I'm considering giving it another shot. Thoughts?

      Thanks,
      A.J.

It's CentOS 6, should install normally. Have you added the YUM repo?

          Yes, getting this error:

          Running rpm_check_debug
          ERROR with rpm_check_debug vs depsolve:
          rpmlib(FileDigests) is needed by pertino-client-410.4383-1.x86_64
          rpmlib(PayloadIsXz) is needed by pertino-client-410.4383-1.x86_64
          rpmlib(FileDigests) is needed by pertino-client-410.4378-1.i686
          rpmlib(PayloadIsXz) is needed by pertino-client-410.4378-1.i686

Also, pretty sure they're still on CentOS 5.

Oh, if on CentOS 5 you are out of luck. Pertino has always been known to not support libraries that far back and because it is so old they have no intention of making it work on a system so old. Sorry, that's just how that works. We have one database server that can't upgrade from CentOS 5 right now and it is left without Pertino 😞

Ah ok. Yeah, they're still using CentOS 5, and I have the latest Unitrends. Dang it...
