So i was reading up on VSphere's latency-sensitivity feature tonight: http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/techpaper/latency-sensitive-perf-vsphere55.pdf. Does anyone use this for your applications? If so, what is your use case for setting latency-sensitivity on a VM to high?

It looks like SQL workloads are not a good use case for this per the last section of this article: http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/techpaper/VMware-sql-server-vsphere55-perf.pdf.

This is for trading systems. It is not for anything that a normal SMB or even a normal enterprise would face. This is very specialized. Normal workloads need throughput optimization not latency optimization. So this would be the opposite of what you would want.
