I have a zimbra installatin , that seems to have the "better" of me at the moment. It seems the proxy has gone awry. I am see the following errors in the nginx.log.
code_text ```All nginx lookup handlers are unavailable while SSL handshaking to lookup handler``` code_text
code_text ` zm lookup: all lookup handlers exhausted while SSL handshaking to lookup handler
are a couple of the repeated errors from the nginx.log, any ideas ?

What is your Zimbra Version and OS?
-
@dbeato 8.8.12 and centos 16

@dbeato argh ubuntu, too many things on the go. my apologies
-
@pattonb I am assuming you did this already? https://forums.zimbra.org/viewtopic.php?t=65887 and also Ubuntu 16.04 and ZImbra 8.8.12 are old and need to be updated. You can also try to update to the 8.8.15 version but check the prerequisites before doing so. Also can you detail any other issues you are experiencing on the client side?
-
@dbeato that wasn't the issue
-
Did you get this resolved? I had this issue a couple years ago when installing zimbra

That's ancient. Even by LTS standards that's ancient. You should be on 20.04 at the absolutely minimum if you run Ubuntu, and you should be being prepared to go to 22.04 in ~90 days. Even running 18.04 LTS at this point is inexcusably old.

General system admin rule of thumb.... always update before troubleshooting. There is a high chance that patching alone will resolve issues.
