For the moment I have deleted that thread. The constant timeouts won't stop as long as people keep trying to read it. Once we figure out how to fix it, it can be restored.

Perhaps there is a bug/feature in the code that doesn't like the title Random Thread.

The random thread is the cause if the 504 Gateway errors.

Yes but it doesn't exist anymore. The thread can't be fixed yet so it has been disabled.
