Alien Isolation

I am a big fan of the original ALIEN and ALIENS. Not so much on Alien3 and Alien Resurrection. But I have to admit, I liked the first Alien Vs. Predator...it was just a "fun" movie and it had the return of the Queen.
Alien games have been mostly "miss". The original Atari Jaguar Alien Vs. Predator and the first two of those for the PC were pretty good. The remaining ones have been lackluster or bad. Aliens: Colonial Marines was better than I expected but quit playing it because the lack of being able to save when I want ruined it. Hated playing the same difficult section over and over again.
Alien Isolation, so far, looks like a hit. Based upon the first movie and with Ripley still missing for "57 years", Ripley's daughter goes on a search for her and finds the "alien.":

What did you think of Prometheus?

I'm hoping the trilogy gets made and they don't just stop at the first part of the prequel.

I do too, not because I liked it - actually hated it - but to see it move onto something I might like.

For me, Prometheus falls right at a 2 out of 4 stars. It just devolved into a mess of a story for me, UNLESS, there is a payoff coming to make the mess look better. It started out wondrous...even loved our into to David and how he watched the ship during hypersleep. Almost had an epic feel to it. Thought we may get some deep development out of his character. But for me, it all fell apart and got pretty messy and confusing (confusing as what was happened to the "idiots" who would take off their helmets in untested air or grab creatures and what did they turn into.)
On the flip side, I want to know why the engineers were so hostile toward the humans...why so angry, intolerant. I wonder if "Shaw" is the mother of the "Alien" we all know, for obviously, her "baby" basically was a large "facehugger" and the baby was a proto-alien. I do want to know what will become of her and David. Ridley Scott said Prometheus 2 is next and coming in 2016.
Prometheus looked very good, I must say.

Agreed...maybe the sequels will make the first one look better.

Nope...Ridley said after post production of Exodus was over, Prometheus 2 would start.
What were your thoughts on Prometheus?

@garak0410 I liked it but didn't love it. But it's only the first part of three so the story is not complete.

Prometheus 2 will have its work cut out...I assume it did OK in the Box Office but people didn't rave about it (though a local talk show host here said "Ridley Scott is a genius" after seeing this film...I took him to task on that too to see why...LOL. )
Anyway, back to this game...just a few weeks out...hope I actually get time to play it...

Anyone else play this yet? I believe I am VERY close to the end...but it is one of those games where you think you've reached the end and there is a ton more...I like that...
