In my misadventures with Hyper-V I found myself with one of my NICs attached to a vSwitch that I couldn't get it unattached from for some reason.

The nvspbind tool allows you to enumerate which NICs are connected to a vSwitch and unbind them, then allowing you to add them to a team for example.

So still no exception to the rule that a command line is more reliable than a GUI.

I don't believe a GUI played a role in my issue, but I won't completely dismiss the possibility either.
