Using Pertino for IT VPN Access

Pertino is not a "remote access" tool, it is a virtual network overlay that overlaps your entire network. We have every desktop, every laptop, every server, on Pertino.

Well you can do that but it is odd. The idea is that Pertino will be everywhere. It is a full mesh VPN (software defined network.)
Using it as you describe bypasses its core value. It can work, but you are missing out on a lot.

We have 4 Cisco UCS Hosts which host all of Servers in a virtual environment. As long as our Vcenter server is connected by Pertino, I should be able to access Vsphere from an outside network, correct?

Yes. That would give you "direct" access to vSphere.

@scottalanmiller Do you know if an iphone app is in the works? I am using the android app right now and I really like it, but most of us here have iPhones.

@IRJ I use Pertino, been using for about 6 months now and love it. Never had a support experience that's been better or more responsive to issues. It works, and works well.

In the works, yes. NTG is pure iOS for mobility platforms so we are anxious for that too.

Hey guys. Josh from Pertino here. Scott is correct. Install Pertino on the Vcenter and it will feel as if you are directly connected.
iOS is definitely on the roadmap...

I should probably mention that, while the community here is vendor neutral, even an open community like ours has to run on real technology and Pertino is a part of our network stack. The application and database infrastructure is managed via a fully software defined network from Petino. Thanks @josh and co. for helping make technology like this possible.

I use it for personal use and NTG. For personal use it connects my laptop. my "media server" and my server in NY together. As mentioned, it's a mesh network and works great!
