[Solved] NextCloud - LDAP/AD Integration: Is anyone using it?

I tried setting up AD integration in NextCloud 11.0.2 and 11.0.3 and now 12 but can't get it setup. Is anyone successfully using it? If so, how? LOL
I keep getting different errors for the same settings across versions. Version 12 is telling me
"Requirements not met
The Base DN appears to be wrong"And when I try to have it detect it, it says it can't. I am using the IP of my DC, port 389 the distinguished name for the username and a known good password along with the distinguished name of my AD domain (dc=domain,dc=local) for the base DN. I also tried anonymous bind and it told me that it didn't work and that it might not be supported.
I have 2 Server 2012 R2 DCs but am running 2008 R2 domain and forest functional levels with AD schema version 69.

Never mind. I removed the server entry that was created in the previous version and did it again. It detected the port correctly and after entering the user name and password, it finally detected the base DN and let me proceed. I guess the LDAP/AD integration has some good fixes in version 12, as long as you scrap the setting and start over. LOL

Good to hear. LDAP integration is on my personal list of things to test.

Yeah, I am going to test it and see how it behaves. I also need to see how to do it when deploying NextCloud on Vultr (if I can ever get a storage instance larger than 125GB; they keep selling out of them).
