Best Access Point with Hardware Controller
-
Hello All,
We are facing disconnection ,Signal strength , bandwidth and high interference issues with our current wireless network . we are using Aruba IAP products, it is with two Access Point and inbuild Virtual Controller. Management decided to replace the Aruba product with another product as we required more access point to fulfill the requirements.
Please suggest a good Access Point with hardware controller. Currently our wireless network is a separate network and we are not having any resource to use virtual software, so better to go with hardware controller.
I like to go with ubiquiti unifi but it doesn't have any hardware controller. How about Ruckus ZoneDirector ?

You could stick the unifi controller on a cheap pc? Or I would imagine a raspberry pi maybe.
Doesn't need installing on a VM or server.

Also there is a hardware key https://www.ubnt.com/unifi/unifi-cloud-key/

What do you mean hardware controller? Hardware controller is always a negative, right? That just means that you aren't treating it as importantly as you would a real server on a VM. But Ubiquiti certainly lets you have a hardware controller. It's just a bad idea.

Yup, they even have a real hardware controller.
