Container Popularity Taking Off in Linux Space

LinuxCareer takes a look at modern virtualization trends and sees that traditional virtualization is falling in popularity and focus while containers are really taking off.

VMware is definitely on the decline, but still the big leader.

Xen and XenServer seem to be converging (remember to combine those two lines to see where Xen popularity actually is as it is split out in the chart making it very confusing.) But the winner is clearly KVM in the traditional space.

But Docker certainly is where the attention is right now.
