            Looks like maybe NextCloud is up for consideration.

                So a real question - what makes this more interesting than, say, Zimbra or other existing open source, totally free email platforms that have been doing this for a long time? What's the selling point or value proposition over the established players?

                  Havent worked on Zimbra in the last 5 years (so not sure whats new with Zimbra) , but i guess the selling point for this would be the ease of setting this up

                    Zimbra is super easy. Just download the RPM and install. It's been like that for a long time.

                      as a linux noob I like the fact that it's a self contained single package that I can dump into a VM
