Hey guys, COVID makes a perfect time to work on your DuoLingo! How is everyone doing?
Was easier for me when i was working at home. Now that I drive an hour each way to work, I'm exhausted by the time I get out of car.

I see DuoLingo now offers linguam latinam

Yes, I've done a bit of it.
-
Dark mode just released.
-
Major update to DuoLingo on Android today. New mechanisms and more Spanish content.
-
Got to the 250 Day Streak!
-
Finally got the "finish first in your league" achievement. It's easy if you do it at Bronze. But I waited till I was hovering no Obsidian. Ugh.
-
300 Days
-
And 300 here too...

-
Nice!
I'm on day 9 :man_getting_massage_medium-light_skin_tone: -

Not quite all. But really trying Spanish, Italian, French and German. I dabble in things like Dutch, Swedish, Portuguese, Latin, etc. And I try Romanian a bit because I can speak it anytime as I have friends there. Spanish and Italian I've both completed DuoLingo once or more and have used while living in native speaking countries. French seems to come easy and is potentially quite useful. I wish Portuguese wasn't so hard

It comes out to about 25 minutes every day. Perhaps doable 15 minutes twice a day. For me it's not so much about the time as it is about using that time for something else instead. That's why I can't maintain a streak, other things to do instead when I do have the time.

I do about 8 minutes of Drop Spanish per day too. Every day. Streak is well over 300 days.

So, how many crowns does it take to complete Spanish?

This is probably the only way to at least somehow learn a foreign language, but still there is not enough self-discipline for this)
