Should AJ Open Crazy AJ's?
-
Who's going to manage Crazy AJ's? AJ might be good on the technical side, but I wouldn't be willing to make an investment without someone with some experience or at least a good plan documented out.
-
Absolutely - This is an awesome idea! Edit - let me add, that this is an awesome idea for A.J.
-
I like the sound of "Crazy AJ's". I imagine some nutting billboards along the highway, a la Pedro's South of the Border in South Carolina.

Two words for Panama: Traffic. uggh...

I've gotten used to it. I don't mind driving around PC now. I don't even notice the traffic anymore. Knowing when to go in and out of the city has made that a breeze too. We do it in 75-80 minutes.

Not out here, once you go west it goes away completely.
If Crazy AJ had his shop in Rio Hato he could easily live near Anton for cheap and live like a king, even on $20K a year and have no traffic and a fifteen minute commute.

A.J. would fit in good down in Panama though... As a part time job Scott, he could drive one of the crazy busses!!

OMG. Crazy AJ's Crazy Bus!!
-
Dominica wants to make a coffee table book of pictures of the buses.
-
Speaking of pictures, I wish we would have taken more while Paul and I were down there. It was a cool trip.
-
I've gotten over 300.
-
300 buses or 300 pictures?
-
Both really. LOL 300 pictures.

That should have been 300 pictures of Panama or 300 pictures of buses in Panama?

Came across this shop whilst on holiday in Shropshire earlier this week and thought of this thread:

That's now how I was picturing Crazy AJ's

Not me.. I expect a huge flashing sign with his face on it....

I still think that central Panama is an ideal place for this, although being farther north in Nicaragua I see a need here too. In Panama the needs are much more around "fixing" and "selling" computers. Up here it is much more around Internet cafes. He could run a business providing Internet, training and maybe hosting video game parties or something. Not nearly as much money to be made, but the cost of living is SO much lower.

@scottalanmiller yup, buy some surplus pallets of computers and fix em up on the cheap to sell to the locals.
