Office 365 On RDS

I would like to install a copy of Office 2013 ProPlus via the Office 365 license on our RDS server. Is there anything I should be aware of when doing this? Do I deploy the click-to-run installer from the Office 365 site, or can I deploy it via the Office 2013 ProPlus VL license that we have and just keep track of uses? Has anyone else had experience with this?

Additionally - I'd like to know the deployment strategy for a corporation and images.
i.e. does everyone have to log into their O365 account any time they log into a machine with O365 Office installed in order to use it? -

I would almost prefer it this way. That would allow me to install the click-to-run version of the installer.

You'd want to use your VL to deploy it and keep track. Keep in mind Office is licensed to the User when doing documentation.

You'd want to use your VL to deploy it and keep track. Keep in mind Office is licensed to the User when doing documentation.
Ok that makes sense. I probably can just have a logon script record when a user logs in to keep track of who is using it.

Well They aren't portable. They stay with the user. Anyone who has access to even be able to logon to the terminal server should have a licence.

O365 is licensed to the user, but non O365 has always been licensed to the device. So now I have no clue what's suppose to happen.

Office 365 is always been licensed to the user that's what you pay per user not device. Each user can have up to 5 devices, But it's still per user licensing.

yes I know... but before O365, Office was always licensed per device - you have 100 devices in your office and only 80 users, you had to buy 100 licenses, not 80
I'm glad it's changing - but i don't know how that works when it comes to using it on RDS - I'm kinda curious?
Let's assume you didn't have access to VL versions of Office because you never bought it.. you are just now buying Office for the first time through O365 - do you now get access to a VL image and key for use on RDS?

You've always been able to install Office on both Their own computer and a terminal as long as the device accessing it was licensed for Office. It's about the Device/User Accessing the server, not the server itself.

You buy one seat to use the key. Microsoft almost never gives you the keys for the "Other rights" or downgrade rights of an application or OS.
