When Does Pertino Push Out Updates to Windows Clients?
-
Pertino did maintenance last night and rolled out 420 last night. I have updated my Linux clients but was wondering when they would be pushing it to Windows clients. I've had issues with updates going through automatically on my Windows clients lately...
Thanks!

Linux pulls for updates. Windows gets pushed. They do a rolling push over a few weeks, I believe, to stagger both the network load and the support load.

I'm aware. I have my servers run updates automatically but I ran these manually. Easy. For Windows I was just curious how they handled it.

The reason I ask is because my Windows clients were all on 370 way longer than they should have been.

@thanksajdotcom Client updates are automatic, however they do not necessarily get pushed at the same time as releases. The Windows update should go out very soon. In the past, we required manual updates.

@thanksajdotcom In regards to 370, we didn't push auto updates to all clients for subsequent releases. 420 is the first that everyone is getting.

Oh believe me, I remember...
