Also, I'm confused at how the RAID rebuilt if the motherboard is failed and they haven't replaced it. What are these hard drives currently running on?
-
@scottalanmiller Yes I understood the situation and I have already finished checking this motherboard also. But I have faced some issue in rebuilding the RAID at HP server which was already discussed by us.So my Senior engineer was so scared about the RAID 1 and he said me to check these kind of issues.

@scottalanmiller, is it just me or does it sound like his senior engineer is completely clueless?

Ah. So the motherboard is already been replace but someone else is worried about the RAID not working properly after the replacement?

I'm sorry, but this does not explain anything here. None of these things are related. He might as well have said that there was some confusion on an HP server so now you have to make him a sandwich when it rains. It's just nonsense.

Worse, because he's taking a role of "engineer" but lacks even intern knowledge so is actually doing damage.

@thecreativeone91 In testing the motherboard is replaced and checked. But in the company the motherboard is not replaced.

Ok, so you've used the hard drives from the system with the failed motherboard and connected them to a new motherboard to test but you haven't put that new motherboard into production yet. Is that correct?

Wait so why did the motherboard need to be tested? What was the reason. The Raid and motherboard are unlikely to be related. What issue where you having with the motherboard?

Sound slike paranoia to me.

Yes, he has a "senior engineer" who literally isn't qualified to be an IT intern in high school from everything we've seen. Zero knowledge of the most basic IT things. Doesn't seem to understand computers or even common sense at all. So this "engineer" keeps forcing him to do impossible or nonsensical things. @Lakshmana doesn't have a choice and isn't doing these things because he thinks it is a good idea. He is forced to work for an idiot that is, it would appear, trying to do bad things.

We could, in fact, get a high school intern into the discussion to demonstrate what I mean

@Mike-Ralston is not your average intern.

I would assume so. But he's already at a senior L1 level or even L2 level with everything he's done in training with @scottalanmiller, etc. So that's a bad example.

I don't think that's too uncommon. I did work study when I was in highschool. It was unpaid though.

I think that the best answer here is going to be this....
@Lakshmana, you need to be looking for another job. The company that you are at now does not have someone qualified to be your mentor, it doesn't even have someone qualified to be your student. You need to work at a place with a qualified IT professional working there that you can work under. It can be someone very junior, that doesn't matter, as long as they are actually an IT professional. The person you are working for right now is a con artist. He doesn't know the first thing about IT and is not helping you to learn but is just wasting your time which is the same as throwing away your career.
You don't have the money to do lots of IT at home. That makes things very rough. But you aren't getting to do good work and good learning at work, so this is an impossible situation. I know that this is your first job, but it is a bad one. There is no future in this company and working there is going to hold you back. Start looking for something else. You need to get out and find a company that will help you learn and grow so that you can have a successful career.

Nope, he's much younger than your average intern
