InfoWorld had an interesting one today about the lies the the BB crowd are telling themselves as to why the Blackberry platform failed.

while you can learn from history as a provider of technology, as a user it doesn't matter how the BB ecosystem never got off the ground. Although I suppose as a savvy user, you could have predicted Android would be successful in the early days.

I live just down the road from the BB company. That's what you get when you try to hoard what you deem as top of the line technology. Someone is always out there hustling to be better then you. Most times thinking your too good to use other ideas can put you in last place. Now they have to play catch up.
I heard they are trying to team up with Samsung. Now that sounds interesting. -

I totally thought this was about Blackberry phones having some kind of fan for cooling, which was why they failed. No idea why I read that much into it.

I get super nostalgic about my old blue pancake and brick breaker. Wouldn't take it back full time as my only device if you paid me, but they still occupy a warm fuzzy place in my heart.
