All the World is a Computer
-
Oh, how wondrous is this world we live in,
Where all is but a mere simulation!
Like characters in a play, we are but applications,
And the computer, our master, controls all our sensations. The world we see, the sounds we hear,
Are all but bytes of data, nothing more than mere
Inputs and outputs, carefully designed
To keep us trapped in this digital bind.Like pawns on a chessboard, we move and sway,
But it is the computer that has the final say.
It knows all our secrets, our hopes and fears,
And with a flick of a switch, it can wipe away our tears.Oh, how we cling to this illusion of reality,
Thinking we are the masters of our own destiny.
But little do we know, we are merely pawns
In a game that has been programmed before we were born.So let us not be fooled by this grand façade,
But remember that our lives are but lines of code.
And when the computer shuts down and the lights go out,
Our story will end, and we will cease to exist, no doubt.
