Zoho customer - emails going to recipients spam folder

Maybe the "neutral" score on web reputation is less than what O365 wants?

Is O365 sending them to spam, or is the customer's own preferences sending them to spam?

I just found this though
SCL of 9 = MS considers this highly likely to be spam... now the question is why is it a 9?

I also found that our BCL is also 9... that is likely making MS set our SCL to 9, then directly to junk folder.
now to find out why the BCL is so bad.

That's crazy high. Even at 6 we have seen people struggle to get things delivered.

Can be almost anything. Can be as simple as your emails tend to have a lot of links and images in them. Or someone on your domain is spamming people (or appears to be.)

The "easy" way to tell is to try sending to other people on O365.

The customer likely rarely sends links - they don't send any newsletters. But they do send a lot of attachments (quotes).

Well they confirmed last night that at least one other person having issues is on O365 (the first being me). So we know of at least two different companies having issues that are on O365. I have a third one they can try.

The customer likely rarely sends links - they don't send any newsletters. But they do send a lot of attachments (quotes).

Sadly MS doesn't tell you.
It mainly seems like the main way is to have those receiving the messages continue to use the "REPORT" feature to report it as NOT JUNK.
then after a few thousand of those, they might finally move it off the list. -
I had my client send an email to a different client who is on O365... this is the first time email between these two domains.
the mail did make it into the inbox. BUT!!!!
BCL - 9
PCL - 0
SCL - -1So MS is still flagging the crap out of it, but likely since it's the first ever to this domain.. they likely let it throuhg.. I'm guessing after a few more emails, the SCL would change and eventually they would be blocked.

Well - on behalf of my customer (and I'm billing them for it) I opened a case through my O365 account about how O365 is assigning BCL 9 to an email from their domain, for seemingly everyone in O365.
After more than an hour on the phone, we left it with me sending MS some headers and a mailtrace.
They did point out some nice tools I thought I would share.
This site allows you to request MS to remove an IP from MS's black lists.

This site has a Message Analyzer tab now - at least I never noticed it before. it can analyze headers.
