E-mail Language Settings Change Mid-conversation
-
I had someone forward me an e-mail in which the conversation was entirely in english but halfway through the from and to addresses became Expéditeur and Destinataire. My initial thought was that automatic language detection triggered somehow, but I am not sure if that changes those fields or not. Haven't been able to find much information on it either.

Sounds like maybe they sent you an email in two languages?
-
@scottalanmiller It looks like a reply from one of our doctors was the first.

Oh, it's one person replying in one language and someone responding in another?
-
@scottalanmiller No, all e-mails are in english. It's only the from, sent and to fields that changed. I thought it might have just been a bug with the automatic language detection possibly.

It might be that the other person is from another country but still can write in English. I deal with that when I work with France and other countries for communication.

No it was reported as an anomaly. This is someone that my CEO speaks with regularly. It's really weird.
