@IRJ I agree. That is why I suggested more of the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. And that might even be overkill.
Yeah definitely overkill. 2GB and 20GB space is probably sufficient for an internet kiosk chromebook

$201 new if you want to double you SSD to 32GB

This one looks good for a loaner laptop since it is water resistant and rugged for $200
-
Currently looking at this one because we need the bigger screen

Around $150 for a refurb
You're starting to give me Christmas ideas for the kids.

Yeah that looks good as well. I think 16GB space will be enough it is just an internet kiosk.

Need it in the building before next week.

I was mentioned more for the "for the kids" comment above.
Though I think their BF deals are already live and shipping.

RAM: 8-16 GB
Storage: 128-256 GBThese are INSANE specs. Normal good Chromebooks are 4GB, 8GB is an extreme. 16GB is absurd.
Storage is normally 16-32GB. What are you going to do with any more? Your stated use case doesn't match your requirements in any way.

Seems like overkill for internet acess
4GB and 16GB here, and it works GREAT.

Dramatic. Double the RAM and 400% of the needed storage.
Lots of new Chromebooks are still 2GB, but you notice quickly.

@NerdyDad Both HP and Dell make what you are looking for. I'd stick with them just based on my experience. Hope yopu find what you are looking for.
Asus, Acer, Samsung... all make good units. And if you are okay with Lenovo (cough, cough) they have good models, too.
-
I poked a vendor that might have info and pricing for you.
Also poking Samsung themselves.
-
do you have a rep at PCM already? if not ...shoot me the request to [email protected] and I will hook you up.
We have loads of Chromebook options. -
@ysapir Thanks Yonah. My rep is Rithy. Already ordered, shipped, received, and prepped.
