This still isnt available in Fedora without adding remi-repo.Current status Targeted release: Fedora 28 Last updated: 2018-03-02 Tracker bug: #1474939
Certainly this isnt true, end of year before it is added?
Detailed Description Update the PHP stack in Fedora to latest version 7.2.x. PHP 7.2.0 is planed for end of year, which seems compatible with Fedora roadmap. Compatibility for PHP code is very good.
Perhaps the editor forgot to update this with a newer date. I mean, 7.2 is already in debian, the most conservative distro.
edit: just saw the Fedora 28 release part. -

They can't add it before Fedora 28 comes out. Fedora is not a rolling release, so you can't add a new PHP until the new release is out. We've known that it couldn't come till Fedora 28 since Fedora 27 announced its PHP version like eight months ago.
