Was watching One Day at a Time and caught all of the Spanish language dialogue in real time. Stuff like that is so encouraging.

Those are brutal.

I wish the mobile (App) version of Duolingo had the grammar parts. I miss out on a lot of explanations that would help a lot. It's harder to remember things if you don't know the rules or reasons why something is so...
Like, when a definite noun is used together with an adjective, an article is placed in front of the adjective, and the article used depends on the gender of the noun and whether or not it's plural.
Before I just seen that, I didn't really understand why it was there and could't remember to do that.

I never see that on the web, either.

Web:
Then further down on that same page:
Most of the more important lessons have that, but not all lessons.
-
The app just lets you choose which sub-lesson you want to do from left to right... that's all. If you want more info, you need to go to the web version.

Just hit level 10, 16 day streak, and sitting at 42% fluent:

Anki progress:
-
I just hit a 30-day streak and hit 44% fluency in Swedish.
-
I need to get back in the habit. Their streak system actually causes me to quit.

Same, I lost my 36-day streak on Sunday... only did it once since then because of that.

Yeah, they make it SO hard to keep the streak and so frustrating when it stops that it makes me not do it again.

This may seem a silly question, but does duo lingo require audio or is that optional when doing the lessons?
-
Got an email yesterday saying that Klingon has been released from beta. Anybody wanting to try Klingon?
