Unsolved GPO Help after Migration

How many AD servers did you have before the failure? Can you tell us more about the environment and how it was fixed?
-
One, its a small setup, and not sure how to be honest, I know there were issues, but everyone is denying responsibility....I know the new server was put in and a migration was forced across...but thats all I know
-
What do you mean a migration was forced? AD doesn't really work that way.
How many AD servers do you have right now?
-
This sounds like a replication issue. What does gpresult tell you? Be sure to use /v and /h options to get a full picture.

Not sure, as above - no-one wants to claim responsibility for it, I've asked the two people that are on the ticket and both are saying the other did it...go figure! Just the one AD server now.

Hmmmmm

The updates one isn't even showing....
-
But I get this when running gpupdate:
Bearing in mind this is the new server...

OK, at least we're getting a little information.
You have SBS. That stands to reason that you likely only ever had one Domain Controller. Sure it's possible you had more than one, but seems unlikely.
So if the DC died - how did they recover it? - I know I know, you don't know because no one will fess up.
Personally I'd go to your boss and asks him to reassign the ticket back to the two buffoons who started working on this mess. But I'm guessing that's not a real option.
Have you checked the \stone.local\sysvol\stone.local\policies\ folder to see if the listed directory is there?

Ah yeah, sorry, it's been a long few weeks, should have mentioned that sorry
And yup, I get all these fun tickets to clean up after everyone else lol...
I have and it doesn't, it has a different folder, with a different name
-
If you have the backups, you might see if you can find those folders in the backups and restore everything to that policy folder.
