 Just stumbled on this on Whisper Systems Github, looking at some android stuff. Really interesting concept. Anyways, people donate to a central pool, then get paid a set percentage of the total pool amount. I don't see a use for it in any of my projects, but thought it was interesting regardless.

 I might've read/explained the documentation wrong. The way I was reading, you setup a GitHub, tie it to a coinbase, and anyone who commits to the repository gets 2% of what's there. The coin-base balance comes from open donations to support the software, and you can commit without accepting the 2%.

 I've never even gotten bitcoin to work even when joining the mining groups. I think the government wants to make it illegal anyway.

 Unlikely to be made illegal. They have tons of legal alternative currency around the country that are longstanding.

 I like the idea of a bounty system.
