Cyborg R.A.T. 7

I recently picked up one of these mice and am highly impressed with it. The Materials and build quality are top-notch, and the features are wonderful and well-executed. The soft touch surfacing is very comfortable, and the buttons are very well placed. The thumb scroll wheel mounted sideways is very useful, and "Sniper" button is also well implemented. The whole mouse (Or should I say Rat) is pretty much adjustable. The palm piece can be moved back and forth and swapped out for a higher piece, or a grippy rubber bit. The pinkie rest comes with the normal one, the grippy rubberized version, and a wing made for resting the pinky and/or ring finger on. The chassis is steel, so it's a decently heavy mouse, even with all the weights removed. The sensor is a Twin eye Laser sensor, going up to 6400 DPI, and is still the most accurate sensor I've ever used. The acceleration, sensitivity, DPI, and surface drag can all be set in the software, along with customization of many of the buttons. The mouse uses Omron switches, and is overall a very well built product. Even the USB connector is gold plated. -
It looks really cool. But it looks very hard to use.

Despite all the strange shapes employed in the design, it's one of the comfiest mice I've ever used. The level of personalization for the shape and size won't fit everyone, but almost. It fits my hand very well, though I have to put it to it's max size constraints as I have large hands. The weight system is also great. Coming from Mad Catz, I never paid this mouse much mind until I tried one. As odd as it looks, it really is quite nice. The software works decently as well. Oh, and it has Mac compatibility with the software.

He's exactly right. You spend 20 minutes once playing with it and making it fit you, set up your buttons, and then leave it.

Almost Steampunk.
