Seems it is still trying to use claims based auth(adfs) to authenticate
Only a couple people use the CRM plugin for Outlook and i forgot to test that before removal.Authentication failed

Oh man, I hate ADFS.
-
Have you tried uninstalling the plugin, reboot, and reinstalling the plugin?
-
Yes i hate adfs as well. Breathe on it and it breaks. l have uninstalled, removed %appdata% for crm, reinstalled. Same error. I can even get to the discovery service url the plugin checks without errors from ie/edge.

I swear sometimes I am just too stupid. Restarting the CRM server fixed the problem.
Problem fixed in 5 minutes after smashing my head against the wall for hours. -
Man am I the only one that doesn't have issues with ADFS? It just works with little to no intervention on our part.

Yes. It's just awful.
Why do you have ADFS? Why not just sync?
