I just met someone who hails from Oldenburg, which appears to be close to there.
It's to the west, while Mรถlln is to the north east, but not far away. Maybe 150km?

Looked at some of the google maps pics.
I have one question.. Why the hell did you leave?
Its beautiful.

It is... lived a few hundred meters from the small lakes, so basically my summer was like getting home, get your bathing clothes, get into the sea. Beer with friends. But I was offered a very good job, in the south of Hamburg. And I didn't want to drive 50km one-way every single day.

Well, wouldn't that be like 10 minutes on the autobahn?

Haha, that's the theory... In reality, we Germans have in fact the most amount of traffic signs in the world. Speed limit nearly everywhere.
-
@thwr Due to traffic?
I do 20 miles one way a day and it can easy take over a hour because of the damn traffic. Hate it

Traffic problems, I'll see your traffic problems and raise you the most ancient non-human powered transportation systems around.

Yes, traffic is a serious issue here at times. For example, I'm doing like 15km now and it can take up to an hour at times. Doing the 15km in 35 mins is pretty good.

I drive almost 40 km to work and it usually takes 25-30 minutes, also depends on what I'm sharing the road with.
At one point I was driving about 70km one way and occasionally had to contend with mining equipment (trucks with parts of excavators much bigger than the transport truck or the large mining vehicles).
Now it's farming equipment and slow pokes.

AND? The farm equipment are the fast ones?
-
It does seem that way.
At least the farming equipment is useful when it gets to its destination. -
