Wanting to make some stuff available easily to people without leaving MangoLassi. Was going to post Prof. Messer's YouTube video series on the Network+ and was wondering how best to do that. One post with 150+ videos in it would be annoying. A thread with 150 videos, one right after another, would be okay if no one posts in the middle and would be super awkward if anyone wanted to discuss them. One hundred and fifty posts would allow for direct commentary and questions, and a table of contents page would make it easy to navigate.

      Thoughts?

Why not a link that heads to the Youtube Playlist?

That way we can have the discussions without having to worry about anyone breaking up the videos?

Or do it as @scottalanmiller has done the Linux Administration... Make the initial post, and just add one video a day or week or something?

That could go in the ToC. But doing only that would both mean that you have to leave ML to watch the videos, which is part of what would be nice to avoid. And it would take us back to the "single discussion for 150+ topics" problem.

That's what I was thinking. That style.

You might look at making a post based off of the CompTIA Objectives list for the Network+, and then filling in relevant videos and other material underneath each specific section.

That would make the material easier to consume, and quick to reference.

I added a youtube plugin for Wordpress for one of my clients that allows you to view playlists right from his website. He isnt technical ( a fishing captain) so I wanted him to be able to update his website without breaking it. So when he adds videos he just adds them on youtube. You can add any user on this plugin and bring up a playlist.
