What is a good business laptop under Euro 1000
-
Should I beat Scott to saying a Chromebook?
In all seriousness - I like HP Probooks and Elitebooks.

HP Spectre x360. It is $999.99 USD, so I'm guessing that would work out to being less in euros. This device was built by a collaboration between MS and HP to build the most streamlined, lightest, purpose-built drivers. It is the closest thing you can get to OS X level hardware/software integration in the Windows market.
If not that, then a signature device from the Microsoft Store. They require OEMs to strip all of the crapware off before they can sell there.

I wish i could get a Chromebook, but based on the company policy it could be only Windows/MAC. They are not yet ready for others

I've now heard a few things on this.
I've heard that MS buys them, strips the laptops themselves and resells them at MSRP.
And I've heard that while it has less crapware, sometime it does still include the manufacture driver update crapware on them.

I'm not sure what the problem is? Less crapware > more crapware. If you image everything out of the box it doesn't matter what the source is I suppose.

That's my take on it. Always image; never care. AI;NC.

Agreed, but consumers don't understand/do this.

But they have access to the information the same as anyone else. It's no one's job to protect them except their own. No one is hiding the information from them.

You could buy 4 Chromebooks! One for the office, car, home, and bathroom.

Bathroom? Gross. Now you know why I hate dealing with people's phones. You never know where that things been....

Mine has definitely been in the bathroom.
That's best part of apps like Telegram. I can continue a conversation and no one even knows I am ... occupied.

I always wear gloves when fixing cellphones. I know exactly where they've been.
