UAC was supposed to fix some of the admin concerns , but users that didnt understand the reasoning behind UAC just simply turn it off.

It's another layer. Just as AV doesn't allow you to turn off the firewall, UAC adds to not being admin rather than making being admin okay. I think a lot of people think that UAC justifies them being sloppy.

Definitely never let anyone use their system as the administrator. Just bad practice.

Absolutely no admin accounts for users. Not even home users if you can help it.

Well I can tell none of you here work for shoddy programmers! LOL.
You know the ones that tell you to give everyone admin rights and turn off the UAC and you might want to get rid of your antivirus cuz our program doesn't work with it.

Well they might get approval, but they would look incredible incompetent to good management.

Oh vendors, not programmers. Buying bad products isn't what you said. You said "working for."
No, as an IT AppRiver I would never allow corporate data in something so amateur and unsafe as QB.

Yes, I should have said vendors! Some of the smaller vendors let you speak to the programmers which can be quite painful.
