C Drive Space increases and decreases
-
The laptop with Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit has the issue that the C drive space automatically increases and decreases when it is connected in network.
So I have disconnected the laptop from the network.
The machine is encrypted with McAfee Safe boot.
The C drive free space 500 MB yesterday evening.
When I checked today it reduced to 150 MB and after 1 hour usage the free space is 250 MB only.
What can I do for this issue? -

I'll be good update Windows using Windows upgrade.

Use this program "TreeSize"
https://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free/
It'll show you all the folders and his size, just execute the program before the space increases and after decreases, and compare the folders.
Execute the program as Administrator.

Defregment the Drive once. Also check antivirus log folder, normally this will be the folder which consumes space.

@meghal Defragmenting will not create any issue in booting with the OS?

There is a file hiberfil.sys is present in C drive which is 2.36 GB space.Whether it is a Virus?I have already done scanning with the C drive.

It's hibernation file, it's not a virus.
Read this if you want disabled it.

No, if it did you could not have a utility such as that.

Very standard part of the OS. If you want to make it go away, you can disable hibernation.
