@dafyre messaged me today and i must say what he said is ture.

Crap happening is a good way to find out who your real friends are

Also from a post on Spiceworks about stress and the over wheming response by people got me thinking and i need to say this,

I guess some people have guessed something is up in my life, i'll give you the basics. Wife has cheated on me, we are trying to get our heads straight see if we are going to give it another go (well she's still thinking i know i want her lol)

Anyway i have been messaged by so many "strangers" over the last few weeks makes me so glad to be part of two great communities that people will offer tips/advice and even direct message you to check how your doing.
What makes this even more special to me is the fact NONE (none is a bit harsh, maybe two but one i'm staying with at the moment.) of my so called friends around me havn't even messaged me to see how i've been doing for the last 2 months.

Well thats enough Emotional stuff for one night lol.

I love to hear how the community (whichever one you are on) has been encouraging.

Wow that is rough - hope you end up getting through it ok no matter which way the cookie crumbles. And you are right about adversity showing you who your true friends are:

Sorry about everything that you are going through, but glad that there are people around for support.

It just amazed me how many people, even if you don't know who there are just jump in and offer support and advice on something that is so personnel to someone. Not just to me but like i said the spiceworks thread.

I know no matter what happens i will get through it either way. Just makes me sad that i know you wouldn't really see this kind of support on other places like Facebook.

I like to think it's something in the nature of sysadmins and technical folk. A combination of the ability to change, invent and fix things combined with altruism and the desire to see the world as a better place. When I first was on Usenet in 1989, the whole of the Internet was made up of such people and it was quite a wonderful place. That's why I love hanging out on here and Spiceworks.

This is a nice group of people, too.

There are a lot of forums fills with nasty morons. I leave those quick. 🙂

A friend will check to see if you're ok... A best friend will clear your internet history first. 🙂

Seriously dude... Sorry it happened, glad you are giving it a go to fix it. You'll never be alone around these parts. I wish you the best in doing whatever is best for you (and your kids if you have any).
