Office 365 Updates: More Installs and Bigger Mailboxes
-
Two major new features of Office 365 have been released that I, apparently, missed...
-
The size of Hosted Exchange mailboxes have been doubled from 25GB previously to 50GB today. That's a lot of email. I've seen a lot of shops worried about what to do about one or two executives who, in a migration, would have just too much mail for the old limit. I've seen no one that won't fit into the new 50GB limit.
-
For those with MS Office 2013 licensing included in their Office 365 plans the number of instances that you can deploy was bumped from five per person to ten. Now instead of five total devices it is five "full" installs like Windows and Mac PCs and five "mobile" installs like iPads and Android devices. That's awesome as many of us have so many devices and places that we work that that was actually a bit of a problem before.

Actually, that was back in August.

In August? That doesn't seem possible. Hmmm....

How the heck did we miss that for so long? Weird.
