Did not push a code update this morning, but we did update the server infrastructure and we are seeing quite a leap in performance. I think that everyone using SodiumSuite is going to be pretty excited today.

RE: Sodium Filters / Views
Long term, as Jeremy implies, loads of filters and views are expected, everywhere in the system. It's not at the top of the list, but it gets higher and higher all of the time as it impacts a lot of basic usability. The system is heavily designed around filters and views being key components of how it all works, both user accessible and behind the scenes.
For example, we want to easily support use by normal users, individual companies, consultants and MSPs. But we don't want to the system to actually work differently, just look different for different people. For example, individual home users likely don't even want to know that there is ticketing. But an MSP might want is very much in the forefront. It will be a view engine making that all possible.

RE: Sodium Update
We've been fighting with a scanning bug all week. Got a potential fix for it rolling out today. Fingers crossed that we got it fixed on the first production try. This is an odd one that has been a big stumper and causing no end of performance issues.

RE: Sodium Update
Also, UUIDs for UNIX machines have made it into this release. This should help a lot with system identification. We have to get this into Windows yet, quite a bit more complex there as Windows doesn't have native handling for UUID generation like UNIX does.

Want me to test?
Not yet, still isn't working here. More testing to be done before we are ready
Thanks though, hopefully shortly.

@quixoticjustin thanks. I’ve been wanting to test since about July, but i kept forgetting.
Well no time like the present!
Did you manage to get your account created? We saw someone have an issue with that just the other day, so hoping that there isn't any problem.
Yes, just logged in successfully. Didn’t do any agent deployment yet though.
Great, glad to hear that that is working.

RE: Sodium Update
We just released an update. All GUI related in this one. We are in the midsts of updated all views to move to a new template for a consistent look and feel. Another updated is expected shortly to fix some things in this one.

RE: Sodium Update
Our evening release just happened. Mostly a run of small fixes. Some small UI tweaks, for instance. Lots of UI stuff broken right now, anticipating another release tonight. But we have ticket colour coding now.

RE: Sodium Update
And yet another new release. One feature that I would like to point out that is quite subtle is that now if you are on the Helpdesk you can adjust the size of the ticket list and the ticket view windows so that you can see more of what you are working on. That is a very important, but hard to see, feature.

Curious to know if anyone has written a script to install this either through PDQ or GPO. I have 50 endpoints I'd like to install it on and am too damn lazy to go unit by unit.
We have a task assigned to get that for you soon.

RE: Sodium Update
Up first is dashboard updates. The header takes up less room so there is more room for Recent Activity data on the front page. This is a big cleaner and more useful.

RE: What is SodiumSuite ? Is that ready for production use ?
Hey there @openit glad that you are interested in SodiumSuite. The first management feature rolled out today. It's not much but it is a good preview of things to come, I think.
