Thanks for the mention @scottalanmiller , @wrx7m - Just talked to the engineers. Short answer is yes. If you put the SSDs into the rear backplane, the system will automatically ask if you want them to be cachecade disks when you configure them. If you add then into other slots, you can change them into a cahcecade array when you are editing the controller settings. You press F2 to select the type on the settings.

RE: SpiceWorld 2016 savings with xByte
@scottalanmiller and @MattSpeller , Scott is on point with his answer. We do sell internationally, including Canada. In fact, we have many Canadian customers, but the taxes and exchange rate doesn't make us as competitive as it does in the USA.

RE: This is why xByte rocks
Thanks for the kind words! We pride ourselves on our superior customer service. While we hope that everything we sell works as it should, when it doesn't, we do our best to rectify the situation as quickly and best as possible.

RE: Hulu and Netflix Streaming Devices
I have both Chromecast and the Amazon Fire stick. I was satisfied with my Chromecast until I received the Fire stick. I've recommended the Fire stick to several friends/family. I am an Amazon Prime member and it just made sense for me to get it. I am able to stream Netflix, HBO Now, all their Amazon movies/shows, etc.. There is also several playlist options and I now stream my music (lists created in amazon/app) through it too. Now that I am thinking about it, I wish I never purchased it... I would get WAY more done on the weekends.

@Minion-Queen , I was going to say that too! SW has mentioned similar promotions to xByte on several occasions.

RE: SpiceWorld 2016 savings with xByte
@MattSpeller We appreciate you considering us and giving us an opportunity for your business! If we can't match on servers, don't leave us out of parts deals. I know we own some things so well that even Dell would have to take a loss to be competitive.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
@aaronstuder , Dan is out of the office. Has someone at xByte been in contact with you? If this hasn't already been addressed, I will have his sales associate contact you. @BRRABill is correct, we will make it right!

RE: Dell R430 with PERC H730 support SSD? (Samsung 850 Pro)
Hi @LAH3385,
I am sorry for not getting back to you sooner! I notice that I started to reply yesterday and didn't hit send. Technology is only as good as the use, right??
Please email me [email protected] and I will get you in touch with someone on our side that can address your questions and discuss some of our benchmark results.

RE: Dell PERC Question (Server Down)
@BRRABill Thank you for reaching out! Even though I have set up an email notification for this post, I haven't been receiving them. Much appreciate you keeping me in the loop. This is beyond my basic IT knowledge (marketing gal here), but I will alert one of our engineers to see if they can chime in.
