    • Packt Pub Script

Out of curiousity, I checked to see if anyone had made anything to pull the daily free book from Packt Pub and there turned out to be a few.

https://github.com/niqdev/packtpub-crawler seems to be the most robust, allowing you to upload to Google Drive once the ebook finishes download. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but thought it might be worth putting out there.

Awesome, so I can't even approach the OP publicly to let them know that other conversations are going on.

David can eat a bag of *****

SW can't allow people to post links that steal their conversations to other forums.. they need to keep everyone there.

This always has to be done via PM. No matter what forum you are talking about they don't want things to leave the community.

I once had a post removed from Experts Exchange due to posting an answer and sourcing another forum, from where I found the resolution. They can do this, as it is in there Terms of Use of using the site.

GPO works great as SAM said, but even if you can't use GPO you can use products such as PDQ Deploy.

The post I made the comment on, you called the guy dense and I took it as you demeaning the guy for making a mistake. I'll have to find the other posts to make you aware, maybe they aren't meant to be taken the way I'm taking them. I'm just letting you know how I see it as a newcomer to this community. I would say the same if it were coming from any other community.

@gjacobse I've never done a project like this, but I don't see why the open-mesh solution wouldn't work. They have outdoor enclosures for their products, which should be enough to shield out mother nature, I'd assume.

I would expect at least some education in IT. We all (should have) learned about correct source citation. Stating an information's source is not only valid but important IMHO.

I agree, but they didn't like it.

Problem with SYDI is that it is limited to Windows servers, no Linux or other support. Not bad, but an important limitation. Mostly it is Windows that is needing to be documented so it covers a lot of ground, though.

SYDI has a Linux tool. I haven't used it, so I don't know it's limitations though.

This sounds like a good use case for Rsync. Setup a cron job to run rsync every X amount of minutes.

What does it run on? A VM? Linux? What version? x32 or x64?

      CentOS 7 x64 VM

@momurda said in OWA is vulnerable to Phishing:

Quick question; How would you go about getting your phishing page to OWA users at a company you were targeting? send them an email with a subject like 'click here to login to your company webmail"? with a link to the fake owa site? They would already have their email open. I suppose it could happen that way, these are users we're talking about.
In the Eternal War on Spam/Malware, what can be done?

I've told users they have to change their webmail password. If they fail I explain to them they don't have a special login for webmail and they will get an official email, not a generic change you password one.

    • RE: OWA is vulnerable to Phishing

I've been doing similar using SPToolkit. When the user clicks on the login/submit/go button it logs their email address and IP, sends them to a webpage that has training on it and explains what they just did and why it is bad, and finally they have to acknowledge that they read the page. I get a report with all of that within the hour. Works great.
