My apologies if this doesn't make sense or seems like rambling, been a long day here.
I see the point & kind of why I steered clear of posting to those threads, especially as heated as they can get. I'm not going to lie & say I didn't read them though. Moderation is a good thing but only in Moderation. (sorry had to) I try to see things from both points of view, keyword try, I know I have been a part of a couple of other threads that probably wouldn't be looked at very highly. I love that community & I love this community, so to that effect these are two separate communities, & need to be treated that way. Especially when the majority of the active people in ML are also very active in SW (an prime example for this thread). I am glad to see something good come from something that seemed kind of going into a downward spiral. I don't blame anyone specifically, as people can get heated under the collar & need to vent/rant, it will just have to be a conscious effort to remember if it is really in need of a flamewar style thread or if it can just be passed with a good brew.

Listening to Some Mo-town & Frankenstein-ing these two laminating machines with another one & hopefully create one fully working laminator. Either that or I accidentally create The Voltron of Laminators.

Just finished with my Lamminator project. Took longer than expected & I didn't think it would be as fun as it was but it was.

I have seen what you are saying, on quite a few different forums. I really don't mind Thread Derailment because most of the time I've seen it end in a resolution anyway. You pinned it right here: "This is actually an important aspect of communications and not a bad thing, tangential conversations often lead to new things."
If I wasn't able to side track for a second or two than my brain would go haywire, especially if I hit a wall headfirst. I'm more easy going though, & I expect in no situation where I ask for the "best" there will be a definitive answer. There are a lot of people who are high strung or just need to be professional 24/7 which is worse than being high strung IMO.

I dunno, my brain is going a million miles a minute right now so, I apologize if this may seem incoherent or all over the place.

We had to replace one of our dell servers from 2007 & one of the switches which died, so I got tasked with re-running every cable & label all of them. In the picture you really can't see it but whoever set this up also decided 25' cables for a run of 3'-4' tops, was the best idea. Half of them are Cat 5 & the rest a mix of 5e & 6. An easy task & I know that it isn't as impressive of a server setup as you guys, but I have to start somewhere. Wish me luck, I'm super excited to tackle this.

@ajstringham Interesting read for sure. I can agree with alot of those points when it comes to me, especially the remorse of not getting that other device rather than the one I chose. I've ended up doing that with too many video games throughout my life.

I'm technically a part of the new group of members & in all honesty it's hard for me to speak up when I'm used to seeing what was/is going on to other members over there (berating, having a better than thou attitude or straight dismissed). Although i already can tell here I'll be able to speak up & ask questions without feeling looked down upon just cause I'm not as skilled/knowledgeable...YET.

Most of the members here are the ones I looked for when trying to get an answer, I didn't ask most of the time as most of my questions were already asked & because of what was stated above.. I look forward to learning more from all of you here, maybe teach something when or if I can, & to just grow with this like minded community. I've been tasked to look & see if there are any printer/laminator combos for purchase (not an ID Card Printer), I'm not sure if there are any but that's because I haven't seen one personally. I've been perusing the Google for a few hours now, & cannot find what I am looking for. Page after page, rewording, adding words, & excluding words from the search. To help out in my constant search I am looking to see if anyone here has ever come across such a thing in the wild.

How much to ship all of that to NorCal? Why didn't they just put the Daleks inside, or the truck, or why did they use the truck to begin with?

I love those parts more, they make better sandwiches in my opinion.

Mous is soooooo good. My roommate has them & I tend to read them every couple of months or so.
