If you want to focus on experience, you can try some tools like http://vizualize.me/grey and integrate some of the graphics to your resume. As you can see, I've done this and included social links, too. All of the recruiters and HR people want to see that since it saves them the effort of tracking your social/facebook profiles down.
I have my FB profile locked down fairly well, I could lock it down even more I suppose. I really don't think my private time is really any of their business.

Yes. I ABSOLUTELY don't use facebook and so my profiles are well-maintained. I don't publish anything that's easily searched, though I'm sure some savvy Google searching could locate non-professional stuff if they wanted to. Overall, though, my LinkedIn is the only thing people look at from a hiring perspective.
I'm quite a bit more findable than you, but not direct postings...
