I know a number of local studio guys. I'm not sure who does mastering these days. When I was more involved with studios we sent tracks out to mastering houses still! I can ask around, though.

I called myself Director of IT for about 2 years here. But after talking to Scott, etc, I ditched that and just call myself the IT admin - IT generalist is confusing to normals and always requires an explanation, but IT admin, oh your the person in charge of IT there, got it.. end of discussion.

I think my actual title still has the word "assistant" in it... even though I'm the whole department. I don't assist anyone. I'd be happy with any version of "admin".

Or.... you assist everyone.

That is possible... but I'm not an "assistant" to any IT person. I "help" users.

Yeah, so you can sound like a lowly assistant, or go with my suggestion and be the master of your domain.
(That could work on so many levels...)

I was literally looking at a music supply store ad and saw the full name for the first time. I had heard of Fuchs amps, but didn't see that the full name would be abbreviated FAT. If it weren't for it being a dude's last name, I would completely think that was done on purpose. It may have been anyway.

So, just found out my lab Dell 2950 server wont support Hyper-V 2016 because it doesn't' have SLAT processors:

Had the same issue with the ML370 G5's that I got. Luckily with a bios update it will support it but will have to buy new procs, but the heat it puts off for my home is nuts.

I think it's a sentiment pretty much everywhere. People who don't travel much think it's just like that where they live. People who do travel hear it all the time, pretty much everywhere they travel (within the US). I haven't come across it much outside the US, though.

I guess my mind jumped ahead to a system where this was all of the vehicles, and not just an addition to the current ecosystem. If all cars are automated, and roads are set up for them, then some indicator lights make sense, but white lights in the front and red brake lights in the back are kind of unnecessary.
