Too late. I took karate when I was 12. I'm practically a walking weapon.

You took one class when you were 12, watch out 😉

His body has been molded into a lethal instrument. Be careful of taunting him.

He even plays jenga with 2x4s!!!

      I'm doing a Jenga block-breaking demonstration at MangoCon 2017.

      You mean "Not-Jenga".

My dentist called and is going to be closed tomorrow due to inclement weather. The next available appointment in March 1st. I can't even articulate how angry I am right now. My face is actually red with anger. The last time I went there they wasted an entire vacation day and literally did nothing for me. I'm not going to wait anymore.

      Time for a new dentist?

The funny thing is that Bumblebee was a VW Beetle originally. Since the first Transformers movie was basically a paid ad for GM, I guess that wasn't going to fly.

Well, let's be honest here, Transformers was never anything other than a marketing vehicle. (pun intended)

If you're referring to the movies, I'll go for that.

It's way cheaper than I would have guessed. $67 round trip for an adult. And no hidden fees like in the US. That's the full price after tax.

that's because tax is embedded in nearly everything in the EU..

      and it should be.

Another great 1 liner from this guy: "I don't understand why this is so difficult??!!" Well, you've been in the office for 3 hours since Monday. Yeah, I would say it's pretty difficult to fix something when you're not here. Never mind the fact that over 20" of snow had fallen the past 3 days.

No work on Monday, now this dude is sick and I had to reschedule the keyboard replacement until Thursday. Bet he'll use THAT against me too.

      The saga continues...

Because of the unseasonably warm winter, everything here is blooming far too early. Cherry trees started last week, those usually bloom in March. I'm sure we will have one more hard freeze, so I hope we have some flowers left for actual spring.

A friend of mine is dealing with an ant infestation in his basement brought on by the warmer than typical weather here.

Russian standard paint stripper right there.

Get yourself some Polish or Lithuanian wodka.

There is a company called Corbin that makes sweet potato vodka in the US. It wins awards apparently.

I like straight up regular potato vodka. It's spicy and tangy - makes the best martinis.

Go bite into a raw potato if you've never done it before. They really do have a bit of a bite to them. Delicious.

Or take a mouthful of wet sand. Pretty close to the same experience.

Wow. I got a whole entire topic dedicated to the discussion of whether I should not work today or if I never work at all. I wish I was as confused as everyone else seems to be, but sadly, I can clearly tell the difference. It's just another day around here, but it sounds like I may get some cake. I like cake.

      Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Lunch was some lovely sesame marinated lean pork over rice. But dinner last night was some grilled alpaca tenderloin. Highly recommended if you can find it. So tender and delicious.

Alpaca? Interesting. Management has been trying to find something more exotic to sell to their customers. Beef, pork, and chicken can only get so much buzz.

My chef neighbor found many exotic, farm-raised meats at a local specialty shop. Alpaca, water buffalo, bison, rabbit, etc. And if you have a Sprouts store near you, they often carry ostrich meat.

Alpaca can best be described as a cross between grass fed beef and pork. Light flavored and so tender, but still red. We cooked this to medium well and it was juicy and fork tender. I don't think you could overcook it.

      MangoLassi Boar hunt!

We had wild boar in Congo a few times; it's very good. Never had to hunt for it though, the pygmies brought it to the door.

Is "rabbit" considered "exotic"? Around here, that's just what the rednecks eat in the winter in their stews.

My lady just bought a whole goose to cook this weekend. Never had goose, can't wait.

All I can think of is something about your goose being cooked, but I digress...
