@scottalanmiller Thank you, Still checking if I really need a tablet or just get Kindle
I've been using zimbra webmail/desktop for some time, but then after using Outlook 2013 , it seems to be super easy to manage emails, may be its just me! So thought of having the same settings at home machine as well, as I work most times after office hours from home
@scottalanmiller And can this be used on a Kindle? Now checking on which tablet to buy or just the Kindle
But if OWA is available, this won't be solved? Im not sure about office 365 yet.
Good news, just learned that we will be migrated to Exchange very soon! Just in time
Our parent company is streamlining all IT and part of that we will be off from zimbra to Exchange. So better wait till that time and use outlook independently till that time, just worried about my reminders, follow up etc, would be nice to have it synced both places, but anyways its worth the wait
Where do you guys buy digital version of books from? I have an iPad1 and been thinking about buying a new tablet for quite some time. Can these DRM free copies be used on Kindle? I haven't got chance to use Kindle yet
I was planning to take few exams this year (Sharepoint and Private Cloud), but will start with 74-409. Registered and scheduling, Thank you @scottalanmiller
I am a long time Apple mail user, but recently started using Outlook 2013 and really liked the features (Followup, categorise etc) and would really like to use it as my primary mail client. Both at home and office I have MAC's with Windows running on Parallels. I need to use both OS as I manage windows, mac and Linux servers. Since our mail server is zimbra, outlook doesn't really works well with Outlook for MAC and also MAC version is pretty old. I read that MS is in the making of a new Outlook version for MAC. http://www.macworld.co.uk/news/mac-software/microsoft-office-mac-2014--update-release-date-rumours-images-3456798/
Since I dont have OWA option, I would like to sync the pst file via dropbox, but wanted to know if someone already using it this way. A lifehacker article mentions about this, and the only catch is to close outlook on one machine before opening it on other. Is there any better way to do this?
Has anyone tried https://www.digitalocean.com/
They provide SSD based hosting provider with a nice and easy interface for creating servers called "droplets". Their pricing are very competitive, and got myself and couple of other friends who is using this and happy. I am completely moving out of hostgator soon, which is actually one of my next projects. Have a nice review by one of my colleague Imthiaz. http://www.imthi.com/blog/web/easy-cheap-and-robust-cloud-hosting-solution-from-digital-ocean.php
@tobywells Thanks for the suggestion, but he had already started to setup sonicwall+SNMP+Cacti using his mac and he is almost done. Just getting the cacti report the way he wants it!
@scottalanmiller Thanks for the suggestions
Hopefully will know soon! I thought you must be using a MAC. Linux?
Found a tutorial, sent to him, http://dmarr.tumblr.com/post/17613913702/monitor-your-router-with-cacti
Using Homebrew and so shouldn't be complicated
Haven't tested cacti, and not sure on how to give the best option for him to easily configure. Checking if there are any graphical mac alternative for cacti or similar. Saw icacti but checking the options before I send him the details.
Seems like those are expensive products. Is there any free tools avaialbel which could read from the snmp logs?
Seems like he has Sonicwall TZ 205 and some ubiquity wifi points and long distance relays (point to point) on the property to bridge long distances. I know that the App flow monitor on sonicwall could help him to get the details, but he couldn't see that option on his sonicwall. Told him to check Log>Flow Reporting>Enable Flow Reporting and Visualization (check).
Is there any good internet usage monitoring app for home user, preferably a Mac version? This is for one of my friends home, and he wants to know which device is taking up the bandwidth. I would advice him to have a custom router like dd-wrt/tomato, but he wants something simple, mac software, which he can use and get reports. Any one used such a tool?
All our web servers are CentOS. Been using it for quite some time and never thought of changing it. And seems like the user base/support forums available for centos/redhat is huge.
If you are interested in configuring pfsense check this video series http://www.youtube.com/user/nobluescreen

As a digital agency, working on web development, we are planning to have a Web Vulnerability Scanner to check for any kinds of security issues and I am looking for opinions about the tools available in the market now. Tested acunetix and seems to be good one. Anyone has any experience on this or similar products? http://www.acunetix.com/
