What did you have for lunch or dinner today?

I made some Gai Pad Krapow (Thai basil chicken) last night.... Most excellent. I used chicken thighs instead of the ground chicken called for in the recipe, so it wasn't the 10 minute version, but it was spectacular. I also subbed Vietnamese chiles for Thai chiles since the store had no red Thai chiles.

Had local pizza for lunch. Eating "whatever is left in the house" for dinner. It's our last meal here.

We had a veggie buffet for dinner, except for the five year old that had squid.

Like a cross between a marshmallow and a meringue.

I hope to god they didn't dip those in ketchup , that would be a criminal act.

I prefer my camembert baked en croute', served with green apple or pear slices and some charcuterie. It's pretty damn good on a grilled cheese too.
-
Camembert sticks kind of are a form of grilled cheese. But, you know, fried.

I would totally kill those little fried cheese suckers, but I don't know if I'd bother to do them like that at home.

Can't wait for dinner. Getting some Georgian food that hopefully I can share some pictures of. I've had Georgian before but what you get in NJ isn't the same as what you get inside a fellow former SSR.

So you're having brunswick stew, cornbread, and collard greens?

Meeting some extended family in Columbus for dinner tonight, can't wait.

Having some spicy fish chowder and a nice, high gravity Scotch ale.
