@RojoLoco Short layovers and you have to change planes. If you travel carry-on, you'll be golden. No worries about lost luggage.
I've never had an issue with lost luggage after changing planes. I've always made sure that I never changed airlines. If I have to change planes, apparently at least staying with the same airline tends to help.
I fly a lot and it has only been like twice. Things have improved a LOT in the computer age.

Yeah, but 3oz of conditioner is barely a 1 day supply. I'd have to have a carry on full of tiny bottles of stuff for my hair alone... or FedEx a box of stuff to myself at the hotel.

Or shave your head. My solution is easier.

You mean you're not going to cut all that hair off just to travel?

Well.... I would have a big, funny looking head. And have you seen my hair? Chicks dig it

I think you can't have anything liquid past a certain amount on a plane (homelan). That may be an issue for you. Otherwise you can just buy shampoo and conditioner while you're at the convention. I'm sure there is a store nearby.

I'm leaning toward sending a box of stuff I can't have in a carry on.

42 next month. I've done the whole in love / long term thing. Got bored with it, so I don't do that anymore. More power to anyone who can make it work.

I might be reading this incorrectly... but you want to know how many years it has been since he ran out of curiosity?

I'm not saying there is any one particular way for people to live but in my experience being vulnerable and sharing my life with my fiance has been the most rewarding thing I have ever done. It's also the greatest of risks. To each his own I say.

I totally get it. I was, except for the formal ceremony and paperwork, effectively married 2 different times, for a total of about 15 years. That lack of legal entanglement made it easier to get out with all my stuff after X number of years, after we had both matured and grown in different directions. Casual dating works very nicely for me, but it's certainly not for everyone. I have a very laissez-faire toward relationships... whatever works for a particular person is awesome. It's all about finding what makes you happy.

The more time goes by the more I look like a Chicken McNugget so casual dating would last maybe 5 years if I'm lucky. I look pregnant now and I don't mean I'm glowing everyday.

An associate of mine was married had 2 kids, both graduated HS, got divorced, lack of sex being one of the major factors, dated - more like one night hookups for 2-4 years (the stories he came in with were crazy), then started dating his x-wife again, and got remarried to her again late last year.
Crazy.

@Dashrender Everyone has their things. Sometimes you need to be single for a bit. Sometimes you buy a Hawaiian shirt and a convertible.
