Hyper-V Unable to reach VMhost RPC call failed

I'm just starting to look at this error... but wanted to see if anyone else has seen this and what I may run into.

I've seen that one before. I'm trying to remember what I did to mitigate it. It was awhile ago, but I'm thinking DNS and AD membership. You might have to reset the Host-1 account in ADUC.

Typically, firewall first.

Then look into trust issues if not a domain joined system.

I'll keep that in mind,... tomorrow when I think I may look. Of interest is that on restart it will show the VMs on that box.

Restart of what? The Hyper-V host? The Hyper-V manager app? The PC running the Hyper-V manager app?

If it is a restart of the Hyper-V host, then check the services once it fails to respond like that.
