@art_of_shred yes you have. It's not as good as Petitjean
-
Applegate farms is awesome. Gluten free, and they use probiotics to preserve their meat instead of nitrites/nitrates.
-
While I know not
all
bacon is the same...But - Bacon...
-
I usually get our bacon from www.wegmans.com (not online in store) Their all natural is really good.

Nothing more IT-ish to ask than "what bacon is your favorite?" We've recently discovered an amazing brand of bacon that I'd love to share (just the info... not sharing my bacon!), so what's yours?
Here's mine...
(http://www.petitjeanmeats.com/Peppered-Bacon/productinfo/45/)I' have to say...$42 for bacon is a bit much.. Even the 'Thick cup, 4 1 pound packages is a bit much.. I balk at $8 a pound... but that's still less that PettiJean
-
MorningStar. It's awesome.

umm you are not allowed to post in a Favorite bacon thread. That is not bacon. And yes I have tired it.

"Alms for the poor.."

My grandfather used to get bacon straight from the butcher and smoked it. My father-in-law is still smokes his own bacon. No brand of bacon comes anywhere close to these.
-
I'm really not that into bacon... I get whatever is inexpensive at BJs.

I concur but some bacon is just bad.

Yeah we eat it very slowly. Worth the money but you don't go through it fast, that's for sure.
-
Peppered bacon? Why would you ruin perfectly good pig. Best bacon EVER? The ones that are fed nothing but dairy products for 2 months before being processed. I don't know of anything being sold in a store, but it's like bacon candy.
